Submission Guidelines
Submissions
Submissions may be rejected if they misrepresent Catholic teaching, lack basic theological understanding, or fail to meet standards of clarity, seriousness, or respect.
We allow you to design your own page layout for writings. If you don't provide one, we will use our default design.
We Allow
- Art (poetry, drawings)
- Writing (essays, reflections, fiction, theology)
- Apologetics, catechesis, and theological writing
Criticism on other religions is allowed when grounded in argument rather than ridicule. Content intended to provoke or dehumanize is not accepted.
Content Restrictions
All contributors must follow publication standards regardless of personal beliefs. Serious or repeated misrepresentation of Catholic teaching may result in rejection or removal.
Pen Names
- Must not impersonate clergy, saints, or Church authorities
- Must not mislead about identity or authority
- Must not be used for harassment or evasion
Rights
- Authors retain copyright
- Work may not be removed at the author’s request if the content submitted for the zine was not opted out before the publishing date
- Minor edits may be made for clarity and formatting
Editing
- Minor grammar/formatting edits allowed
- Submissions may be rejected without detailed explanation
Length
- 800–1,800 words standard
- Short and longer pieces may be accepted
Eligibility
Submissions are limited to practicing Catholics or catechumens actively engaging with Catholic teaching. We are open to affiliating with other Christian sites as long as content is not explicitly anti-Catholic.
